There’s something for everyone in the Cambridge student theatre scene. From acting and directing to tech, design, producing and welfare, we offer opportunities to get involved at every stage of a production, as well as the support you need to have an enjoyable and memorable experience. On this page, you’ll find information about our 2026 Freshers’ Plays, events and workshops, mailing lists and other opportunities.
Every year, CUADC facilitates three shows that are exclusively for freshers. This year, we are delighted to present The Da Vinci Code (at the ADC Theatre) and She Kills Monsters and Burying Your Brother In The Pavement (at the Corpus Playroom). Applications for roles on these shows - including acting, directing, producing/publicity, backstage and welfare - open on 4th October and close at various times before 17th October. To find out more about roles, see the application packs below.
